Quick answers

Why "per occupied room"? What if rooms are vacant?
Vacancies don't pay. We only charge for rooms that actually have a tenant assigned at any point in the billing period. If a room is empty for the whole month, you pay ₹0 for it.
Are there any transaction fees?
Never. Rentgate doesn't process payments — UPI lands in your bank, cash stays with your staff. We charge a flat per-room subscription, and that's it.
What's included in the free 30-day pilot?
Everything in the Owner plan, for up to 25 rooms — including free migration from your existing register or sheet, and a guided setup call. No credit card needed.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time. Pro-rata adjustments are credited to your next bill. Your data stays yours either way and is exportable as CSV.
How do I pay? GST invoices?
Pay via UPI auto-debit, NetBanking, or card. We issue a GST invoice on every billing cycle, with your business name and GSTIN if you supply one.
Do you offer NGO / hostel concessions?
Yes — registered NGOs and student hostels affiliated with educational institutions get 50% off any plan. Email hello@rentgate.in with your registration details.
